About Me

I am a stay-at-home Mom to two little boys, Rowan is 4 & Ezra is 2. I have an amazing husband who I am so grateful for, he loves me and all of my quirks (there are quite a few).mom3

I was diagnosed with Manic Depression when I was 18, but have struggled with the illness since I was 13. It has not been an easy illness to live with, and made for some really turbulent times in my life. However, it is a big part of who I am, and it has made me a stronger person.

I am a Martha Stewart wannabe, I love to cook, bake, and craft. I enjoy reading, writing, photography, exercising, bad eighties music and movies, the color purple, the ocean, anything with sugar as a main ingredient, and playing with my naughty little boys.

I strive to educate and entertain my readers through my blog.

  1. Just be sure to set up a 501(C)3 tax exempt else you will get the nasty people on the web crawling out demanding what you're doing with the money, among other things for your son and his illness.

  2. Hi Mami,
I stumbled on your blog 2 days ago and wanted to let you know that I had a blog called "manic mama" b/c I have bi-polar. :) I thought it was super cool that yours is so similer and for the same reason. (It's a different name now). I also read about your sweet baby boy. My own son has a life-threatening illness (muscular dystrophy). I know this road is hard one, I'm so glad you have a large support base.

  4. Thanks for posting your blog. My wife suffers from depression as well, so does my sister. You've been helpful in letting me be supportive towards them.
