  2. Thinking that maybe these sites might be helpful in your fundraising efforts for Ezra...

    http://www.chipin.com/- This free site allows you to keep track of your goal and for others to see how much has been collected. Plus you can add the widget to your blog.

    http://caringbridge.org -A good site used by a friend of mine that had breast cancer. Lots of other people are on there sharing their stories

    http://www.cancerindex.org/ccw/guide2sg.htm -This site also has other resources you might be able to tap into and there is a wealth of information on there

    God Bless and I will keep Ezra and your family in my prayers and thoughts.

  3. Not sure if you want one or not, but on the off chance- I made you a Praying for Ezra button with copy code, that you can keep in your sidebar. I can email it it to you if you want to use it. No charge or anything, I just thought it might help get the word out. If you decide you want to use it, email me at ohmyblogdesigns@gmail.com.

    Praying for your family!

  6. Hi there,

    Thinking about your family every day! We had a cancer scare last year this time with our 8 year old son, it turned out to be something else, but my heart just sank reading your posts because I can understand those emotions with the initial phone calls, the tests, etc. Praying for strength for your family!

    Just wanted to add another idea to the pot; look up Current Fundraiser. It is an on-line and mail-out magazine that you can sign up your cause to, and then promote for people to buy from under your cause; you get 50% of the profits mailed directly to you, quarterly I think, and it would be easy to remind people on your blog about it, especially around holidays. Their stuff is very nice and fun!

    You should also ask a few close and trusted blogger friends to help manage all of this for you; you will need breaks and refreshers through this time! Stand strong and hugs to your family!

    PS I have my own little prayer link on your button on my site.

  7. My heart & my strength are there with you. I worked with cancer families for yrs & drew strenth from them as well. You have no idea how much strength you have yet. You can do this and you can win. But you need everybody around you to draw strength from for those days when you don't believe that. My book has a chapter on working with authorities and is written from my experience working with medical people on the Pediatrics floor. I would like to send you that chapter, if you can send me your direct email address. I think it might be useful for you.

  10. I posted a button to my blog. I wish I could do more, but we're kind of broke right now. We have $28 in the checking account for this week. When I'm rich one day, I'll donate some $$ but until then, I'll pray for Ezra every time I see the button on my blog. {{Hug.}}
