I was watching 20/20 the other night and they did part of their show about these dolls called reborns. They are dolls that are the actual size of newborns and look and feel like real babies. They are beautiful and I totally respect the craftsmanship that goes into them. However, women are buying these dolls (which are very expensive) and pretending they are real babies. They showed a woman carrying the baby around and attracting all of this attention from strangers who thought her baby was real. These women even had complete nurseries and all. Ok I watched this to! And I think these people need more help then a doll that looks real. Seriously, how are you going to carry on a conversation with someone about your child and how precious they are when it isnt even REAL! Drives me........just drives me.
ReplyDeleteAww Cmon..I Love the reborns! I am from Massachusetts and found my first reborn at the flea market in Florida while visiting family. I think Renegades was the name of it. Amazing work, and prices..i just paid 565 for my last one and that was on ebay..the one from the flea market was only 185 and looks more realistic!
