So I was looking up some things on Bipolar disorder the other day and I came across this.
- Bipolar disorder is the sixth leading cause of disability in the world. (World Health Organization)
Now,I know just how debilitating bipolar can be, but this shocked even me. I think most people would be amazed to learn this as well. Many people don't even consider a mental illness to be a disability. It very much is, it just has such a large spectrum. There are many highly functioning bipolar people, but there are also those that can't even leave the house.

Wow. I am BP and I too am shocked. I have days when I can't leave the house but most days I do alright. =)
