Shout Out to Victoria Woodhull

I am going to do a different "shout out" to a famous woman in history every month.

This month is Victoria Woodhull. Victoria Woodhull was one of the leaders of the American woman's suffrage movement in the 19th century. She is most famous for her declaration to run for US president in 1872. She was the first woman to ever run for president, she helped pave the road for other women. Even though women were not allowed to vote until 1920, there was no law prohibiting them to run for president. I don't want to write out a whole bio since that gets boring, but to read more click here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Woodhull. Thanks Victoria Woodhull
