Children’s Crocheted Hat

I have been teaching myself crochet over the last few months. I have found YouTube to be the most beneficial to learning crochet. This is the first project I have made that I am not embarrassed by. It was very easy to make, I had to adjust it slightly. I think I ended up adding 5 more rows to the hat to get it to fit my four year old. My son loves it, too bad we live in Florida where you don’t really need hats. You can find the pattern here.

  3. Great job! Not just the hat but the photos too! Its fabulous that you are trying new things - YAY for YOU! I'm sure you will never suffer boredom since you really get it - life is a banquet and there is always something to do! I crochet afghans and baby blankets for gifts and to sell some of my neighbors who's friends are having babies. Its so therapeutic and relaxing. Again, well done!

  4. Very nice job...maybe he can wear the hat inside with the frigid air conditioning that's found all over Florida!

  5. Very cute. My grandmother taught me to crochet as a young girl, and I really enjoy it. Unfortunately, I have made very few things I am proud of because I am unable to keep an even tension to my stitches making the finished product not uniform and nice looking.
