What is your favorite movie from your childhood?
My answer: My brother and I watched The Gnome Mobile a lot, and the Goonies. Has anyone else seen The Gnome Mobile?

ReplyDeleteMy favorite was Bed Knobs and Broom Sticks. I also watched this crazy old movie with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John called Two of Hearts I think. No idea why I liked it. I've seen it recently and it's pretty suck-tacular.
The Wizard of Oz is still a favorite for me... and I just got my girls Sleeping Beauty on DVD, and I forgot how much I loved it :-)

Gnome Moblie? what is that? Goonies is a favorite to this day. my sister and I also liked Newsies and the cartoon Robin Hood. it is one of Jack's favorites also.

ReplyDeleteI LOVED the Gnome Mobile. A couple of years ago I spent months searching for it a copy on ebay and finally found a very used VHS for like $45. I treasure that tape and keep meaning to buy another VCR so I can watch it.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Gnome Mobile. I'm surprised at how many people don't know it. I also loved Newsies and now my girls go ga-ga over the same guys I did in it... LOL
ReplyDeleteI picked up Mr. Boogedy (bootlegged, I'm sure) from an online site this past year so my kids could watch it at Halloween and I also recently introduced them to Watcher in the Woods :)
I loved the Gnome Mobile too. When they are in the car singing all together. Oh, I watched that movie over and over. We had it recorded from TV onto a VHS tape. Great pic! I think my ultimate favorite movie was Lucas.
