I am at the grocery store, I turn the aisle and what do I see? A display of Thumbelina Barbies ……. at the grocery store! I am a big believer in signs and omens. So maybe it means I should try and have another baby, (and it would be a girl) or maybe its a fluke. So what did I do? I bought myself a Thumbelina Barbie.
The Barbie will have to satisfy me until I make that huge decision.

Well...if that little Barbie isn't just the cutest. Have you ever wanted to know Thumbelina personally, toting her around to watch and wonder at her miniature life? As a child I was mesmerized by her!
ReplyDeleteI suppose a teensy tiny pink-cheeked baby is the very next best thing to a Thumbelina. I hope the omen proves true and you get your little delight!
And...THANK YOU for stopping by my blog. It was SO good of you! I'm tickled to have you along as a follower, too. You're blog is ADORABLE! I'll be back for sure!
I like looking for signs too. I really want a baby, but we cannot afford it right now. I decided a kitten would help me preserver. So I thought now would be a good time to test out the laws of attraction and low and behold, within two weeks, a friend of the family asked us if we wanted a stray kitten they found.
ReplyDeleteTink is the the cuddling kind so I can't baby him like I want but it still has helped me to be patient and to hold on to hope.
You are too funny! So are you going to start playing with it now or wait for a little girl to join you someday?
ReplyDeleteI had a "theory" to never let the kids outnumber us. Two laps, two kids. I had two hands to hold in my two hands. I was in early menopause when my daughter started PMS. Can't believe my husband stayed! Rent a teen-age girl for a month. You'll count your lucky stars!
ReplyDeleteToo funny.
ReplyDeleteI only have one - but he's a boy. We're talking number 2 and I'm trying not to get my hopes up for a girl.
I'm excited to see what you decided.
I LOVE your blog design and am having a great time reading through old posts. (Yeah, its a pretty slow Sunday, and I'm tryng to find new blogs to love). I came by because of the reference to being manic depressive. I'm impressed you put it right out there, and it made me like you instantly. Alright, off to read more...
ReplyDeleteVery cute Barbie! I love Barbies.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better this week - PMS is tough. I can relate.
I would be more than happy to let you borrow a little girl to help you decide. There is a two week minimum though :)
ReplyDeleteDo you have a Thumbelina for me? I so want one more (especially a girl) and hubby is dead set against another. So sad.
