The smallest bird nest is made by the vervain hummingbird, it is about the size of a walnut shell.
The biggest nest is made by the mallee fowl of Australia.
The male bird builds the nest it can be up to 35 feet across and up to 15 feet high. He may move up to 3 tons of material (about the same weight as 6 to 8 cars) to build a mound.

























Wow - that is one tiny nest. I can't believe they can even sleep in there. And that big nest is HUGE!
