Today marks 5 years of marriage for my husband and I. 5 years ago,we were young, full of hope, and love.
We took off on a jet plane to Jamaica and had a private wedding. Just the two of us, well and a minister, and 2 random Jamaican’s that were our witnesses.
We walked out on to a pier and onto this gazebo, we got married overlooking the crystal clear water’s of the ocean.
There was no one at our wedding, there was no stress or fuss about this or that, I wore black, and I was also barefoot….and pregnant. The wedding plans came before the baby, Rowan was just a little extra surprise.
If you knew me personally, you would know that this was the most perfect wedding I could have ever imagined.
A big wedding, church, invites, cakes, flowers, receptions, dresses, and all that other crap just aren’t my style.
It was seamless, the perfect day, the perfect wedding, the perfect man. If only we could go back to celebrate how far we have come.
Thank you Anthony, for loving me for who I am, never asking me to change, and understanding all of my quirks. Our marriage has had to weather some serious storms the last 2 years, but we always pull through, more in love, and more united.
Here’s to 5 more! I love you.
