Random Trip Highlights

As many of you know I spent the last week in Minnesota with my oldest son Rowan, I really wish we all could have been there. Here are some pictures from random highlights of our trip.

babylolahair1

My brother and his wife gave birth to their baby, Lola Jane.

She was scheduled for the next week, but luckily I got to meet her, she is adorable. She wasn’t even smashed up, or old man looking.

andrea

My beautiful sister-in-law Andrea, we saw her almost right after delivery and she looked fantastic, like she had not been up for hours or delivered a baby. I am willing to bet she will be back to her former skinny self in a months time as well. Hate those women..but I do love you Andrea!

fairyhouse Going to Grandma’s house and seeing the Fairy houses she has made.

There was a country Fairy house, and a city Fairy house.

grandpawaynebw

Rowan getting to meet his great grandparents. That is Rowan’s great grandpa Wayne. He is in his 90’s and still full of spunk. He told us he was growing his hair out for Locks of Love. Before he left we put it in a pony tail for him.

My grandpa Mac told me how proud he was of me, and how he reads my blogs first thing in the morning. It meant a lot to me.

oldbus

Going to a car show and seeing some really cool old cars.

Ro only thought it was cool for about 30 minutes.

treasure

Taking the kids to “Treasure” City, in Royalton Minnesota.

It is a store that is full of tacky, really old souvenirs, like a “pretty” doll, a shark fetus, or a turtle shell rattle.

mecowboyhat

Or a tiara cowboy hat…I really wanted it, if it were cheaper I so would have bought it. If you live in Minnesota and have never been to Treasure City, I highly recommend it, it is an experience like no other.

Driving by the old farm house I grew up in.

girls1

Meeting with old friends, some of them I have known since elementary, I think I have known all of them at least 10 years. It was so fun to reminisce, it was like we hadn’t been apart at all….oh how I miss them.

Ok that wraps up the randomness, many more posts and pictures to come. Hopefully you won’t find them too boring!
