Adorable Little Boy Overload!

This Thanksgiving we spent it at home..just the 4 of us. I made a scaled down traditional turkey day feast, which the boys ate none of. They had tatertots and apples…*sigh*, I try.

It was a really good day together. Really good.

After we ate, we took the boys to some train tracks (trains are all the rage right now). This would be my second attempt at a Christmas card photo. This time I didn’t even try to get my husband or I in the picture.

Why is it that my children are the hardest to photograph..ever?

Here are some that didn’t make the card.

Traditionally on Thanksgiving night, we go to a Christmas tree place and pick out a tree. This year because of Ezra’s immune system we had to do a fake one. Which didn’t seem to matter at all to them.

Ro pretty much decorated the whole tree himself. I love him.

I love this one too.

And when you let little people decorate your tree, you end up with ornament clusters..such as this.

I was going to go back today and rearrange it all, make it look perfect, but than I saw Ro was rearranging ornaments again this morning. My little Christmas baby.

So I pretty much decided to be lazy leave it as it is. After all Christmas isn’t about perfection, its about the little people.

When do you get your tree?

The pictures are beautiful. I just bought a P90 and I'm scared to death to use it. I know nothing about cameras but wanted something better than my 10 year point and shoot!

These pictures are awesome!! I love the one of both the boys on the tracks in black and white...love it!

And it just wouldn't be a christmas tree without the ornament clusters. :)

I'm following you too!

These photos are all precious! Can't imagine you saying these were the ones NOT selected for your cards! I don't do a tree anymore. I have two pseudo trees made of ornaments and lights that are 4' tall I put up on the mantle - read my blog Monday for Millie's Christmas "wisdom"! haha

Gorgeous photos as always. I love the candy cane one! And I love that you left the tree as is, ornament clusters and all. Life is not about perfection. It is about people, little and big. Thanks for getting me into the holiday spirit. I want to go out and get our tree now!

I LOVE the photos. Absolutely precious. I hope you'll eventually share what DID make the card, because these are lovely. I love rail road tracks, they add such interesting lines to a photo. Beautifully done!

As usual, your photos make me shed tears of joy!
Ezra looks wonderful & I am still praying for him, Ro and your whole family daily!
I can remember days of very LOW ornament clusters and I, too, never rearranged them, because as you said, it adds to the magic of Christmas.
I cannot wait to see the photo that DID make the card. I, also, love the third one and the one that looks like Ezra is either singing or saying choo-choo - he looks so happy.
We will be putting up our (fake - because of my allergies) tree as soon as my youngest son comes down for a visit (in FIVE days).. WooHoo!!
Merry Christmas to your whole family!! Wishing you all HEALTH, happiness and many, many, many more..... Love, Lorie

I LOVE that one with the two of them walking down the tracks! So cute...and the color effects are fabulous.

No tree here yet. I just couldn't do it this weekend. Probably this weekend. We'll see.
