Change

So while off of my meds on a whim I decided to have my hair dyed brown. I have been a blonde my whole life, and have always wanted to try it. So I went from this…..

to this!

me

It wasn’t supposed to be reddish like it is. Apparently my hair picks up red tones very easily, she even re-dyed it to try and make it more brown. She told me I could go back free of charge to make it darker…so should I, or should I keep the auburn??

Ha! The first thing I thought was her eyes look gorgeous! Looks like it is unanomous on that one. I like it too. Very pretty!

Look at you, hottie! ;o)

I did that a few months ago too, had to do mine twice to get the darker color with just a hint of red.

Which do you like better? It is definitely different. I hate to say it but based only upon those two pictures I think it looks better blonde. I am not sure about darker, maybe lighter?

My hair is a med-dark brown and every time I try to lighten it turns really brassy. A few years I just gave up and realized I prefer my natural hair color. I did color it for at least 10 years.

What your friends might notice is the big change from blonde to auburn. I'd say go a bit lighter next time but honestly you look great. The color of your eyes is really nice.

I love it and think it really makes your eyes pop. I just darkened up my blonde several shades and I think I look less washed out, especially now that I'll be hibernating all winter : )

I love it! I was blonde for years and went red too. It does wash out very quickly though.

I like it red. But I dyed my hair reddish brown and haven't gone back, so I might be a little biased.

I think that you are gorgeous either way. It is a dramatic change that gives you two different looks. Have you thought about some brown or blonde highlights?

WOW-BIG difference! It looks great but I'm auburn so maybe I'm not impartial.

Looks really good - my hair does the same thing with picking up red tones, I'd just roll with them - they are fun to have!

WOW - I love it! Though I am SO partial to auburn, having chosen that color to be myself when the grays came. From a distance you may look as tho you have no eyebrows - a problem I have too since mine are getting gray as well, darn it. I hafta dye the eyebrows to match the hair OR Bobbie Brown makes a nifty brow mascara in a light auburn to use. That being said, I would have moved a mountain to have natural blonde hair like yours!
