Instead of making a Thanksgiving list of all the things I am thankful for that would be the usual list of family, friends, roof over my head, blah, blah, blah. Boring. You know, and I know I am thankful for those things. I know you are thankful for those things.
But what about the little things? The little objects in our lives that make our lives easier, or more enjoyable? What 5 little things are you most thankful for? Here are mine.
1. one is easy…..
I am thankful for disposable diapers..can’t say this one enough. I so admire parents that cloth diaper….but it is soooo not for me. I have a good friend that cloth diapers, and I asked her how you get the poop out…she said they have a poop stick they use to scrape it out. Gag. No thanks. Love me some Huggies.
2. Soft Cheese
I think the picture pretty much says it all. I only buy this stuff very occasionally, because a whole wheel has been known to go missing in less than 24 hours. So sinful. So thankful.
3. Carmex
I have to use it every night, or I end up with nasty chapped bloody lips. Thank you Carmex.
4. Hand Sanitizer
Never thought I would be thankful for this one, but you all know why I am. What did cancer moms do before it??!
5. White Noise Machine
We all sleep with one, in fact I can’t sleep with out it. I like the waterfall noise the best. Best part is, it is small enough it can go everywhere with us!
Wanna play along? List your top five little things you are thankful for and come back and leave your link. You have plenty of time to post it only 3 days till Turkey day, and 31 days until Christmas…but who is counting?

I'm thankful for wireless internet so I can blog in bed!
I'm thankful for all the different flavors of Doritos. And for coffee. Give me those two and I'm happy.
I love my sound machine, could use a new one.
We started using one when our kids would be out in the night coming in at 1,2 or 3am. The dogs wouldn't wake up which was awesome! That was like 10 years ago. I like the white noise. I don't think I have had that soft cheese but I do love cheese. Hand sanitizer is a must!
I am thankful for LIFE. The most beautiful thing there is :) Hope you are doing well. I had a cupcake party today and we made your cupcakes. They were a hit of course!! Hope all is well my friend!!
Hi Beth - Oh my oh my - I have to DECIDE 3 things only? Little things? Smaller than a bread box? My journal, my coffee mug full, and my favorite chair - oops that's big - ok, I'm thankful for my long fingernails.
I love those things, too. But I'd have to change #1 to "I am thankful we don't have to use these anymore!!" ;)
Fun list - If I have time this week I'll try to play along! I would have a hard time sleeping without my noise machine too!!
You are welcome to check out my list if you would like! Thank You for sharing yours!

I love your list... I can do this... I have a lot of little things to be thankful for. Hugs!
I don't know what I would do without 1, 2 and 5!
Hmm, so many little things to be thankful for:
Cheese
Bad reality TV
Shoes
Sonic drinks
...and Peanut M&M's.
All very random today but worthy of thanks. :)
I agree with you on everything except the cheese. The white noise machine... what a blessing this has been in our house! My 8 month old will not, can not sleep without it!! Best purchase I've made in a long time!!!
Stopping by from MBC, come see me http://thedaysillremember.blogspot.com/
I couldn't sleep without my white noise machine I have three, one in each of my two bedrooms (should my husbands snoring get louder than the machine) and a small one to take on trips. I am also very thankful for my hands and eyes.
I was just telling my MIL that I could live on cheese, bread, chocolate and wine. MY 4 favorite food groups!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Oooo- love that list. Especially love the cheese too. Not sure I could sleep with the white noise though. :0)
Oh, I'm with you on Carmex and hand sanitizer! I need to get myself one of the white noise machines for sure...been having some issues with my roommate. I love the snow on your blog, how did you get it??
