This time of year Florida’s fields are bursting with wildflowers. Ever since the wildflower season started I have kept my eyes peeled for a spot to take pictures at, and driving home from the middle of nowhere the other day I thought I had found the perfect spot.
Not so much….
It looks like the perfect spot upon first glance, but once you are out in the thick of it you quickly realize a field of wildflowers is also a haven for ants, and numerous other bugs.
I wasn’t able to get hardly one shot!
All I kept getting were shots like this with Ezra’s eyebrows in a furrow…..
We were there all of ten minutes before everyone had enough of Mom’s great idea. I was able to get this one shot! After that we packed up and headed to the train tracks to take one last attempt at getting some good pictures of the boys. Those were much better, and I will share tomorrow.
Lesson learned: We don’t belong among the wildflowers…..
