As a huge football fan I see the super bowl as an ending to the season topped-off with this specticle, it's not even a real game to me. Just get it over so I can celebrate the beginning of this year's season. I do celebrate the start of preseason; really.

Your words resonate with me. I too, googled, "My child has cancer", and found you.
I bookmarked this a few months back and keep coming back to it.
I empathize with all of the feelings, because I have felt them all.
I am choosing to trust God- because He has given me more strength and blessings in this than I ever could have asked or imagined !
I decided there was only room in my life for trust OR fear, not both.
And I chose trust. It wasn't easy.

This cupcake recipe didn't turn out too well. I think there are a couple problems: 1 1/2 tablespoons of baking powder and only 1/4 teaspoon of salt -- not the right proportions as far as I know to add to flour.

That, and whisking 5 egg whites without adding sugar to the whisking -- impossible to get stiff peaks to form without sugar.

Bottom line, yuck, the cupcakes tasted unpleasant when done.

I love my Canon Rebel XT. As a photographer (more hobby than otherwise - but did shoot for KC Star newspaper in high school for 3 yrs), I took a whole story of photos while my son was doing chemo & radiation also. He was diagnosed at age 3 with Stage 4 Wilm's. John Paul is now 5 years old & in Kindergarten. He is my only son, I have 3 daughters who all carry a cancer gene that I also have. I was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma while 8 months pregnant with our 4th baby (4 months before John Paul's diagnosis) - talk about DOUBLE WHAMMMY! We are all healthy TODAY.... I feel BLESSED! I love your photos - I need to get back into doing more photos - - - I want your camera!~ lol.... Time to shop on eBay for mommy's christmas present! :)
